 Our aim is to support Christians involved in mission and development work in more effectively serving the poor and demonstrating God's love. We believe that reconciling people to God is a key for Christian Community Development. Therefore we provide opportunities for:
- Networking
- Capacity building
- Exploring innovative practices and approaches
- Accessing and sharing helpful resources
- Learning from each others’ experiences
Core topics of CCD conferences are:
- Holistic Ministry/ Integral Mission
- Participatory approaches in mission and development work
- Sustainable change
Participants: All conferences offer opportunities for newcomers as well as those who are more experienced. We target Christians involved in mission and development work including field workers, trainees, desk officers, and leaders of mission and aid organisations.
Who organises CCD Conferences?
Initiated by German Christians, the CCD conference has developed into an international event. Currently it is organised and supported both through the investment of personnel as well as funding by a growing international group of mission and Christian aid organisations and the Academy of World Mission, Korntal (Germany)
